Transitional services are offered to individuals between the ages of 15-21 to help develop an awareness of career and educational opportunities. Individuals gain skills necessary to appropriately advocate for themselves as they prepare to complete their transitions program and enter the workforce or participate in other post-school activities.
Training provided to aid eligible individuals adjust behavior and/or develop compensatory skills in vocational areas such as peer-work relationships, supervisory work relationships, and general work behaviors and expectations. Trainings are performed in facility or community-based settings.
Evaluations conducted to assess work behaviors, interpersonal skills, and job-related skills to establish eligibility or developing an Individualized Plan for Employment. Evaluations are performed in community based, real life work, transitional employment, or facility based settings.
Training provided to help individuals in supported employment with disabilities develop compensatory skills and/or to adjust behavior in the areas of independent living, communications, homemaking, personal mobility, and ability to travel in the community, and personal functioning, to the extent necessary to support and maintain his/her current employment.
Guidance in exploring jobs that pertain to their personal goals. Service is focused on resume building, completing and submitting applications, interview preparation and support during in person interviews.
Individuals are offered services focused on aiding in job site orientation, on the job training, time management, and other skills necessary to help maintain employment stability.
