Our values are rooted in our CHamorro culture and growing up we had an innate responsibility to take care of our own. The only question we ever asked ourselves was "How?"
The call to serve the IDD community was first heard when we were younger and helped our auntie navigate through everyday life as a blind person. In the past, acceptance and understanding for this community was not like where it is today. For us, progress and inspiration to advocate for those who needed a little extra support in living independently started with Auntie Nich.
With a masters in education, she created programs to guide individuals in gaining professional skills and hands on experience to carry with them on their path to an independent life. She dedicated her life and abilities to serving this community despite having her own ailments.
As we’ve grown, so have our reasons as to why we look to continue the work that our auntie started, but above all else we will always look to take care of our own. With over 10 years of experience on the table, we are committed to our mission of ensuring that individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities have pathways equal and respectful treatment through quality service, compassion, and sincere care.
In our culture, the Plumeria symbolizes new beginnings and we have full faith that together we can guide our individuals towards a flourishing future of their own design.
